The COVID-19 lockdowns have put disadvantaged Aboriginal children and families under even more pressure. Many children have fallen further behind and are at risk of dropping out altogether. Please help with a donation to provide:
- vulnerable children with Koorie designed backpacks filled with essential school supplies.
- extra support to help Aboriginal kids start back at school and keep engaged. These include; tutoring, playgroups and resources like tips sheets, books and posters for starting school and kinder.
Donations of $2 or more are tax deductible and a receipt will be emailed automatically. For information about how to get your school, group or workplace involved with fundraising please email supportus@vacca.org. Thank you for your support!
$25 will provide a child with a backpack and school supplies and stationary items so they need to start the school term with confidence.
$50 can help fund tutoring so a child can catch up on months of education they missed during lockdowns.
$100 can help provide a vulnerable family with the support they need to keep their child engaged with school.
